Laura Wilson

President

Laura Wilson is the founder and former CEO of WilsonPrep, a premier tutoring agency, as well as the Founder of GIFT.  Currently, Laura consults with school districts and educators, oversees WilsonPrep’s online educational platform, and teaches test prep classes to underserved students. She has written numerous books; The Guide to Grammar is her most recent. At this time, she is busy working on a high school reading and writing workbook. Laura serves and has served on various educational boards, including Scholarship Plus, the Horace Greeley Scholarship Foundation, Chappaqua Summer Scholarship Program, and Lincoln High School Academy of Finance. Laura received her MA from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Nina Auerbach

Nina Auerbach has been working in the education field for over 25 years. A graduate of Cornell University (MS ’88) and Boston University (MEd ’90), Nina has taught in public and private schools in New York and Massachusetts and as a Teacher Consultant and Editor for Scholastic, Inc. Since 2011, Nina has been an integral part of the Wilson Prep team, including lead Verbal Coach and Executive Director of GIFT. While working at Wilson Prep, Nina saw firsthand the need to provide educational opportunities to underserved student; hence, with passion and purpose, Nina currently is involved in every aspect of GIFT so that low-income students achieve to their maximum potential.

Leanne Heller

Leanne Heller is a web developer at Adaro Consulting. Recent sites include HARBORWALK, which highlights amenities and parcels along the near-continuous, 43-mile linear public park along Boston’s shoreline; an Xfinity’s LGBTQ site for LGBTQ Film & TV; and a travel site encouraging people to try new places and new experiences. When away from her computer, you can find Leanne with her family and their very large dog or playing heroically mediocre guitar.

Mike Wilson

Michael Wilson is Chief U.S. Equity Strategist and Chief Investment Officer of Morgan Stanley Institutional Securities and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.  As CIO and Chair of the Global Investment Committee, Mike is responsible for all the investment and asset allocation advice provided to the firm’s $2.1 Trillion in retail client assets. He started his career in 1989 in investment banking before transitioning to the Institutional Equities Division in 1995 where Mike created and managed the sector specialist team while serving as a technology sector specialist himself. In 2009, he became Head of Content Distribution for North American Institutional Equities and then CIO for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 2012. He was made Chief US Equity Strategist and CIO for Institutional Securities in 2017. Mike holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA with from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
